Jalen Green's third NBA season will come under far different circumstances than his first two campaigns.
Green, who won't turn 22 until February, spent the last two years serving as the de facto leading man for the Western Conference's worst team, flanked by a first-time coach and, more importantly, a supporting cast unequipped to compete with most teams on a given night. As Green now enters a pivotal Year 3 with the Houston Rockets, his new coach has outlined goals for the 2021 No. 2 pick.
"The one thing we have stressed to him is being an all-around player," Rockets coach Ime Udoka said during ESPN's broadcast of Houston's loss to the Cavaliers in the Summer League championship.
