Three key takeaways from the Rockets' 120-101 loss to the Jazz on Tuesday:
1. If the Rockets are going to defend well only on occasion, a good time would be when they are shooting poorly. They missed shots they normally can expect to make on Tuesday, but that should have signaled them to step it up on the other end. Instead, they allowed the Jazz to run their offense with little difficulty, leading to good shots. The Rockets maintained that the Jazz shooting was a credit to them. That surely was true. But that did not mean the Rockets could not do more before shots are taken to make it more difficult to run the offense.
