The NBA fined Philadelphia 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey $50,000 for violating the league's tampering rules Monday.
The fine is a results of Morey recently resurfacing a tweet from his days as the Rockets general manager.

On Dec. 20, 2019, Morey - who was at that time the Rockets general manager - sent out a tweet celebrating James Harden passing Calvin Murphy to become the Rockets' all-time assists leader. On Dec. 20 of this year, Morey's account sent the tweet back out again, quote-tweeting the original with "#OnThisDay 1 year(s) ago.
