The Rockets get even deeper by bringing back JET

Jason Terry, the longtime shooting guard from the University of Arizona, has agreed to re-sign with the Rockets on a one-year, veteran's minimum offer worth $1.5 million.

Terry, who turns 38 in September, averaged 7 points in 21 minutes per game last year, plays an essential role in the Rockets' locker room. JET is a leader on and off the court for the young players in Houston.

According to RealGm, Terry was also being pursued by the New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz. He chose to return to Houston because of the "opportunity to win and cohesive recruitment from Rockets players and coaches.
