Houston Rockets head coach Stephen Silas was posed a simple question as he met with the media following Tuesday's practice at the Toyota Center.
Silas was asked to identify what is separating the rebuilds in Houston and Oklahoma City at the moment before the two squads face off Wednesday evening. As the Rockets enter Wednesday night firmly in the Western Conference cellar, the Thunder find themselves in the thick of the playoff hunt, far away from the race to the bottom of the lottery in hopes of landing Victor Wembanyama.
Silas highlighted one major reason why Oklahoma City has been able to kickstart its rebuild following All-Star departures across the last half-decade.
