Texas A&M police arrest Lakers' Alex Caruso on marijuana charges

Lakers guard Alex Caruso, who starred at Texas A&M, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana (less than two ounces) and possession of drug paraphernalia at College Station's Easterwood Airport on Tuesday.

A spokesman for Texas A&M Police told College Station's KBTX that its officers were called by the airport's TSA agents after they found a grinder with marijuana residue. Easterwood Airport is located on Texas A&M property.

Caruso was released on bonds totaling $4,200, according to KBTX.

The 27-year-old Caruso was born and raised in College Station, attending A&M Consolidated High School before his four years with the Aggies.
