News around the league is flying around like crazy, but the Summer League is still going strong. The Houston Rockets and their young players will begin their time in Las Vegas tonight as they face off against the Dallas Mavericks, the in-state rival.
This isn’t the first game for the Mavericks, though, as they played last night against the Brooklyn Nets, winning a close one 96-92. Former highly-regarded backup Cameron Payne is on the roster after his fall from grace and they also have some exciting young pieces in Kostas Antetokounmpo and Antonius Cleveland.
