“COVID is no joke,” Silas said. “I had chills, sore throat, symptoms that felt like I had the flu, symptoms that felt like I had a cold.”
Silas added he tested negative for COVID-19 twice before returning to the team. He also highlighted his appreciation for assistant coach John Lucas, who led the team in his absence.
“[Lucas] has been there, done that in my time here,” Silas said. “The way he is with the guys, the communication that he has ... Our guys were in good hands.”
