SAN ANTONIO – Spurs assistant coach Becky Hammon could be poised to become the first women to work as a head coach at an NCAA Division I basketball program.
Hammon was a three-time All-American at Colorado State, and now the school is eyeing her to become its next coach after Larry Eustachy recently resigned.

Athletic director Joe Parker has been quoted publicly saying he would considering hiring Hammon.
"It's the most frequently asked question I get, and recommended candidate," Parker told Coloradoan.
