Let’s face it J.B. Bickerstaff may be a nice guy and an adequate assistant coach, but he’s just not ready to tackle a head coaching job. As Space City Scoop has covered repeatedly Bickerstaff’s most egregious decisions are his rotation selections. Like his team he is inconsistent in terms of how he utilizes his players with constant shifts to the starting rotation. Any successful team has specific roles and assignments for their players and a great head coach makes sure to be consistent in their minute allocation. When a player doesn’t get consistent playing time they tend to force their game when on court thinking they need to be demonstrative in their production.
