MINNEAPOLIS -- Ryan Anderson was set to make his 2018 playoff debut in Game 3.
Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said pregame that he expected Anderson to return to action. The 10th-year power forward had missed the final four regular-season contests and initial two Western Conference first-round playoff games against the Timberwolves while recovering from a sprained ankle.
Anderson, 29, averaged 9.3 points and five rebounds while shooting 38.6 percent on 3-pointers in 66 games (50 starts) for the Rockets this season.
D'Antoni said Anderson's Game 3 workload will be determined by how he responds to his first action since April 3.
