According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, Ryan Anderson will sit out due to an injury for the first time this season. The Houston Rockets have gone without him several times due to illness.
In Anderson’s place, Eric Gordon will start for the first time since before Patrick Beverley came back from injury in November. Point guard James Harden will match up with the Utah Jazz‘s power forward on defense. That won’t be new for the Beard, who guarded Marc Gasol recently.
With Rockets forward Ryan Anderson out, he'll get therapy tonight to determine if he'll make the trip to Chicago.
