The Rockets will hold forward/center Donatas Motiejunas to the offer sheet he signed and they matched on Monday, converting the offer sheet to a contract and including him on their roster, a person with knowledge of the decision said on Thursday.
The individual spoke on the condition of anonymity because the decision has not been announced.
The Rockets had included Motiejunas on their roster and inactive list for Wednesday's game, though Motiejunas had refused to undergo his physical with the team after their decision to match the Brooklyn Nets' offer.
If Motiejunas does not report, he will be considered a part of the Rockets roster until March 1.
