The Houston Rockets will return to the floor against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night in their first game after All-Star Weekend, but the team will still be without franchise anchor Jalen Green as they take on the defending champions.
Rockets coach Stephen Silas provided an injury update for Green on Wednesday. The second-year guard and No. 2 pick in the 2021 NBA draft exited a loss to Oklahoma City on Feb. 15 due to a groin strain, which will keep him out against the Warriors, per Silas. Green previously missed three games in late January and early February due to a right calf injury.
