The Rockets experimented with several pieces of technology at Tuesday's practice, from barely dabbling in some to wearing tracking devices throughout the practice.
Several players went through ball-handling, pass-catching and shooting drills while wearing strobe goggles that allow vision in brief flashes to promote hand-eye coordination and simulate a defender blocking a view of the ball or basket.
"When shooting, someone might cover your eyes," said Rockets forward Ryan Anderson, who made his first six 3-pointers while wearing the goggles before missing. "It kind of just blinds you. It's dangerous. You don't want to be blind out there while playing basketball.
