Rockets forward Trevor Ariza sat out Sunday's practice to get additional treatment after leaving Friday's game with back spasms, but said he was surprised to have improved as much as he did since he was in a great deal of pain on the way out of Denver.
"I'm feeling cool," Ariza said. "Nothing is 100 percent. As long as I continue and I'm feeling better, that's all I can ask for."
Ariza did some light shooting before practice. Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni said he considers Ariza to be "day-to-day." He said Nene likely will be available for Monday's game after missing the past two games to rest his knees.
