Dunks was good for highlights. But the crowd at Toyota Center on Wednesday had seen dunks. There were reverses and fast break buckets.
They wanted the Rockets to take a place in history and with nothing else to pursue against a version of the Kings on Wednesday, they began chanting their desire.
The 50 3-pointers the Rockets put up in Sacramento gave them a nice place in the record books, but as much as 3-pointers attempted spoke to their style, setting the mark for 3-pointers made seemed a more worthwhile goal.
The Rockets saw the Kings – or at least some of them – again and they were firing away again.
