Rockets stuff Thunder’s stocking with coal, win 113-109

Fans who only wanted a Rockets win for Christmas had their dreams come true Tuesday afternoon when the Rockets took care of Thunder by a score of 113-109.

The Rockets went toe to toe with the Thunder in the first quarter with a 22-22 tie after 12 minutes. The Thunder pulled away in the second quarter, outscoring the Rockets 38-30 and taking an eight point lead into halftime.

In the first half, James Harden led the way with 23 and Clint Capela already nabbed himself a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds, continuing his furious pace from Saturday’s win against the Spurs.
