Houston Rockets coach Stephen Silas seemed to make a minor grimace Tuesday as he discussed the team’s defensive effort across the last two games.
“We've given up 293 points in two games,” Silas told the media at the Toyota Center in reference to the combined scoring output of the Thunder and Kings against Houston since Saturday night. “That's just something that needs to be improved.”
The pair of ugly defensive performances led to a frustrated venting from Silas in his postgame press conference Monday night, with his message echoed by Houston players. One rookie took notable accountability when speaking with the media Tuesday.
