As soon as free agency started, the NBA world became a pretty hectic place. Paul George announced in a video that he would return to the Oklahoma City Thunder next season. Shortly after, Adrian Wojnarowski tweeted that Chris Paul re-signed with the Rockets on a huge 4-year, $160 million deal.
All signs pointed towards Paul returning to Houston, but there was still a collective sigh of relief among Rockets fans when the news confirmed that he was staying. With Houston’s top priority taken care of, they’ll now focus their attention on the big man in the middle.
