The Rockets were decimated in their season opener against the Timberwolves, 124-106 on Wednesday night. They didn’t seem to have much of a chance from the opening tip, and the game quickly became a laugher early in the second quarter.
I was, however, paying close attention to the big man rotation. This was due to my curiosity regarding the fit of certain pairings, particularly in the long run. The projected top two picks in the 2022 draft — Paolo Banchero and Chet Holmgren — are both big men so it would be nice to know beforehand what we have in our own guys.
