According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Rockets have officially signed former Nuggets and Nets big man Kenneth Faried after reports of a signing came about Friday evening.
With the signing of Faried, the Rockets needed to free up a roster spot. In their corresponding move, the Rockets released James Nunnally, who appeared in two games on his ten-day contract, which would have expired on Friday.
Nunnally was brought to Houston as a sharpshooting wing off the bench, but did not live up to his expectations. In his two games as a Rocket, Nunnally averaged 4.5 points per game while shooting just 3-12 from distance.
