Daryl Morey has been a busy man this past week, and it can all be slightly confusing, but we’re here to give you the skinny and recap everything that has gone down.
Dec. 28: With an open roster spot, Rockets sign Gerald Green to a non-guaranteed deal. All non-guaranteed deals become guaranteed on Jan. 7, 10 days later. The Rockets have unofficially given Gerald Green a 10-day contract.
Jan. 4: After back-to-back 20-point performances, Rockets unofficially decide they will guarantee Gerald Green’s contract on Sunday.
Later that day: Bobby Brown is waived, thus leaving the Rockets with an open roster spot.
