Rockets rookies play important part in first win of season

Monday night marked an encouraging step for the Houston Rockets, as they continue the third year of their rebuild in the post-James Harden era.

Second-year guard Jalen Green continued to flash his prodigious talent, tallying 25 points on 9 of 16 shooting in a 114-108 win over the Utah Jazz. Backourt mate Kevin Porter Jr. finished the evening with 26 points of his own, including nine in the fourth quarter.

Yet while much of the attention (rightfully) focuses on Houston's dynamic guards, a pair of rookies in the frontcourt made a major impact in what was the Rockets' first win of the season.
