The help the Rockets sought in their blockbuster deal is on the way.
With the four-team, 12 player trade that will bring Robert Covington to the Rockets complete, Covington and Jordan Bell will be available to play on Thursday, a person with knowledge of the team’s plans said.
The deal became official and was announced late on Wednesday, with the Rockets sending center Clint Capela to the Atlanta Hawks along with Nenê, who has not been with the team this season. Guard Gerald Green and the Rockets' 2020 first-round pick will go to the Nuggets. The Rockets will also receive the Warriors’ 2024 second-round pick from the Hawks.
