For all the happy memories Rockets forward and Sacramento native Ryan Anderson has of Arco Arena, his first visit to the Golden 1 Center represented a triumph. The new arena is the symbol of Sacramento's successful effort to keep the Kings, the team Anderson credits for inspiring his NBA career as well as many good times.
"It's just been a long time coming, to see this vision and actually be in this arena now," Anderson said. "I grew up being a huge Kings fan. I'm from about 30 minutes outside (in nearby El Dorado Hills). The Kings are the biggest thing in town.
