Rockets partner with Make-A-Wish to offer one-game contract to Chance Smith

Standing near a free throw line in the Rockets practice gym, Chris Paul draped a black No. 13 practice jersey over his new teammate, who looked on then cracked a wide smile.

On Tuesday, the Rockets presented Chance “CJ” Smith with a one-game contract in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Smith, 10, was diagnosed Burkitt’s Lymphoma a year ago.
