When the Rockets previously played the Pelicans, coach Mike D'Antoni made a case that P.J. Tucker should earn All-Defensive team honors and that he was surprised that he had not already. But D'Antoni said it was not just his defense on New Orleans star Anthony Davis but his versatility throughout the season and that night that so impressed him.
"I don't know if it's anything Anthony Davis specific," D'Antoni said. "There's not much you can do about him. He is really, really good. He hits tough shots. But P.J., he can guard anybody. He'll have to guard anybody from Jrue Holiday to Anthony Davis.
