Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni has often cited in recent days the extra workload on his regulars since Chris Paul and Eric Gordon have been out, but he said Friday that is inevitable with the Rockets shorthanded and not too great a concern with help on the way.
Since Paul strained his left hamstring in Miami, James Harden had averaged 39.8 minutes per game going into Friday's game against the Cavaliers, Austin Rivers 38.5, P.J. Tucker 36.5 and Clint Capela 36.2.
"I think I'm concerned because (the media) is all concerned," D'Antoni said. "We had ideal minutes for people, like 35 for James would be ideal.
