Rockets forward/center Kenneth Faried, who had been slower than expected in his return from a sore hip, will be out Friday against the 76ers and Sunday in Dallas after an MRI showed a grade 1 adductor strain.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said Faried could return on Monday against the Hornets, but it is more likely that would be able to come back Wednesday against the Warriors, two weeks after he was hurt trying to draw a charge against Charlotte’s Miles Bridges.
“He still feels some of the effects,” D’Antoni said. “The good news is it’s there, but it just need a couple more days.
