Former Houston Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy recently made headlines by stating that he hasn’t been watching the ESPN docu-series The Last Dance, although he has a valid reason for not tuning in. JVG lived it, as his New York Knicks teams were constantly left heart-broken by Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during the ’90s.
JVG is also quite familiar with Jordan’s leadership style, which makes Jordan look like a tyrant in the eyes of many. This was especially portrayed in the ESPN-featured film, as Jordan constantly pushed Scott Burrell in a not-so-pleasant way, although Burrell handled it better than most would have.
