Rockets guard James Harden, one of three finalists for Most Valuable Player, was named on Thursday a unanimous first-team All-NBA selection for the second-consecutive season.
Cavaliers forward LeBron James was also a unanimous selection, giving him an NBA record 12 first-team selections. Pelicans center Anthony Davis, Warriors forward Kevin Durant and Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard complete the first team. Along with Harden, Davis and James are MVP finalists.
Harden, the NBA’s leading scorer, joined Michael Jordan as the only players to have averaged at least 30 points, eight assists, five rebounds and 1.7 steals in a season.
