Jalen Green is in a shooting slump of late as the Houston Rockets enter their West Coast road trip riding a seven-game losing streak, though the team's upcoming stint in Sacramento could provide a boost for the second-year guard.
Green spent much of his childhood in Fresno, California, just three hours south of Sacramento. Houston's games Wednesday and Friday night at the Golden 1 Center won't exactly be a homecoming for Green, though it will suffice by NBA standards as he plans to have family in attendance. Green said Tuesday he recently spoke with his mother, who does not know if she will attend Wednesday's game or Friday's contest due to flooding in Northern California.
