According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania, the Rockets have agreed to a deal with the 2013 top pick Anthony Bennett.
Bennett’s deal is non-guaranteed, which probably indicates that Bennett is not a dire part of the team’s long-term plans this season. However, they get a high-upside player to round out the end of their squad for training camp.
Bennett has been through the gambit since he was drafted first overall in 2013 by the Cavaliers.
The Rockets are his fifth NBA home in as many years and played last season with the Clippers’ G-League affiliate in Ontario, CA, the Agua Caliente Clippers.
