The Rockets did not have a definitive diagnosis or prognosis Monday on Gerald Green’s left foot injury, though there was no reason to think the foot was not broken before the final tests are completed.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said it is “probably broken.” Another test is scheduled for Tuesday, but a person with knowledge of the initial examinations said Green is likely to miss two to three months.
Green was hurt going back defensively after a drive to the basket several plays after he had a putback dunk against the Raptors last week in Tokyo.
