For six weeks, if Rockets rookie Gary Clark played in just three games with the Rockets, getting no more than two minutes. He mixed in three games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the G League, but nearly all of his work was on the practice court.
On Thursday, however, with the Rockets shorthanded, Chris Paul and James Harden lobbied to have Clark in the starting lineup and Clark delivered, scoring a career high 14 points, making 5 of 9 shots, while grabbing five rebounds.
“From my standpoint, just staying ready, Clark said. “Staying consistent and keeping a rhythm.
