The Rockets did something Monday they have rarely done in the past month. They went through a shootaround at Toyota Center.
The Rockets have played 10 of their past 12 games on the road. With the All-Star break in the middle followed by a pair of practices in Tempe, Ariz., the Rockets have not been in Houston as much in the past month as they will be this week.
The three games – starting against the Grizzlies tonight followed by games against the Clippers and Timberwolves – become especially important with road tests in Atlanta (in the second half of a back-to-back) and Oklahoma City to follow.
