MIAMI - When Rockets forward Ryan Anderson left Tuesday’s game in Brooklyn with a sprained right ankle, he planned to return. He never did, but the Rockets hope again that he will be back quickly as they complete their four-game road trip on Wednesday.
Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said Anderson could be out on Wednesday, but did not expect a long-term issue. Anderson planned to test the ankle before the game to determine if he can play.
“It’s just a mild sprain,” Anderson said. “I felt a little pop. I turned it. I’ve had a few ankle sprains on this ankle in the past few years.
