The Houston Rockets will begin their West Coast road trip Wednesday as losers of seven straight, with a slide of 12 losses across 13 games dating back to Dec. 15. Yet despite the prolonged struggles over the last month, Rockets head coach Stephen Silas highlighted one positive aspect of the current roster when speaking with the media Tuesday.
Silas was asked to assess the growth of his group through 40 games of 2022-23, a half-season in which the Rockets have far more double-digit losses (17) than wins (10). And while Silas did cite Houston's progress defensively and on the offensive glass, his focus was on the morale of the NBA's second-youngest squad.
