Dillon Brooks was ejected within the first five minutes of his Houston Rockets' debut Tuesday night at the Toyota Center. Based on Brooks's postgame comments, Houston's free-agent addition didn't exactly agree with the dismissal.
Brooks was given a flagarant-2 foul and ejected after he caught Indiana Pacers center Daniel Theis with a below-the-belt shot. Brooks noted postgame he didn't intend to hit Theis with any sort of cheap shot, adding his reputation as "Dillon the Villain" played a role in his ejection.
