Rockets general manager Daryl Morey remains steadfast in his support for James Harden as 2016-17 MVP – so much so that he recently suggested the NBA should consider eliminating awards.

In an interview with The Crossover, Morey said he questions the voting method used by the NBA to name its award winners.

After becoming the first player in 55 years to average a triple-double, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook won the MVP award. He had 888 points in the voting. Harden had 753.
