Earlier today, New York Daily News reporter Frank Isola mentioned that the Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics engaged in trade talks revolving around Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard.
Now, we have two more reports, albeit conflicting, regarding the Howard situation.
A little earlier this afternoon, Marc Stein and Calvin Watkins of ESPN.com wrote a story saying the Rockets intend to keep Howard past the trade deadline.
Sources told ESPN.com on Wednesday that the Rockets, despite recent speculation to the contrary, are not looking to trade Howard before the Feb. 18 deadline even though he has the right to become a free agent July 1 and could thus leave the team this summer without receiving anything in return.
