Rockets commit to Toyota Center deal after Astros' stadium name change

Jim Crane and the Houston Astros made a rather sudden change to the franchise's home confines Monday when Daikin Comfort Technologies North America Inc. was officially announced as the ballpark's title sponsor. Don't expect Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta to follow in Crane's footsteps.

The Rockets plan to use Toyota as their arena's sponsor for "many years to come," per recent comments from Fertitta to the Houston Business Journal's Chandler France. The initial naming-rights deal for Toyota Center was signed in 2003, with the Rockets agreeing to a 20-year, $100 million contract.
