DENVER – The Rockets' double overtime win against the Warriors was apparently more exhausting than they thought. It was so draining, it seemed to have worn out the Nuggets just watching it.
The Rockets had more than enough left in the tank to fire up 3s and run fast breaks with little concern the Nuggets would do much of anything to interfere.
The Rockets never trailed, leading for all but 26 seconds and by as much as 22 points before closing out their five-game road trip with a 128-110 rout of the Nuggets. They went 4-1 on the trip, scoring at least Friday's 128 points three times to blast their way past almost any trouble.
