Rockets center Clint Capela, who went into this season a career 48.2 percent shooter from the free-throw line, said his recent success from the line was not inspired by the $500,000 incentive for making 65 percent of his attempts. That's because he aspires to better than the 65 percent he has not reached.
"I want to get to 70 (percent)," Capela said. "I want to get higher than that. I think I can go above (65 percent). That's the kind of confidence I have right now."
Capela went into Friday's game shooting 77.3 percent from the line in his previous seven games, improving to 62.
