Rockets claim 17th consecutive victory with win over Bucks

MILWAUKEE – For 40 minutes, the Rockets got their shots, solved the changing Bucks defense and hit their 3s.

They could not entirely pull away, but they were in command. Then they could not make a shot, only to show that there are times that for them, 40 minutes are enough.

For nearly seven fourth-quarter minutes, the Rockets made just 1 of 12 shots. The Bucks rallied to within five. But with the game on the line, Chris Paul made the only basket the Rockets would get or need in the final seven minutes, taking the Rockets to a 110-99 win and their winning streak to 17 games, the longest in the NBA this season.
