The Houston Rockets remain in the Western Conference cellar at 5–15 following Monday's loss to the Nuggets, but Denver's leading man still issued some high praise for one of Houston's young pieces after the game.
Nuggets center and two-time MVP Nikola Jokiu0107 noted he was impressed by second-year big man Alperen u015eengün, who tallied 18 points and seven rebounds in just over 23 minutes. Jokiu0107 highlighted u015eengün's potential as an offensive fulcrum, one who could help Houston work through its "stagnant" offense.
"I think [u015eengün is] really talented. Maybe this is going to sound weird, but I think they need to play a little bit more through him," Jokiu0107 told the media postgame.
