The Houston Rockets made a move yesterday that might have fell under the radar for a lot of people with the focus on Houston’s 3-6 record, back-to-back blowouts at the hands of the Los Angeles Lakers, and James Harden’s lack of effort and post-game press conference.
But according to Amico Hoops, the Rockets signed former first-round draft pick Josh Huestis and assigned him to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, which is Houston’s G-League affiliate.
Huestis is a 6’7” forward out of Stanford who was drafted with the 29th overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2014 NBA draft.
