After Brandon Knight had limited himself almost entirely to catch-and-shoot opportunities in his first weeks back from his 2017 knee surgery, he had been more aggressive off the dribble on the Rockets road trip against the Warriors and Trail Blazers.
Given that he had been particularly effective at getting his own shot prior to his injury and long rehab, that could be a sign of Knight taking the next steps in his comeback.
"We talked this morning," D'Antoni said on Monday. "It's still a long journey. In this league, you don't not play for a year-and-a-half and go through major surgeries like he's done and just think you're going to step on the floor and be able to play with the best in the league.
