Anyone who has watched even a small bit of Houston Rockets basketball in recent seasons knows how effective P.J. Tucker has become as three-point shooter, particularly from the corners. It should come as no surprise then that Tucker won a three-point shooting contest with Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers at training camp for the FIBA World Cup team earlier this week.
Tucker shot 37.7 percent from deep overall last year, and Kuzma shot just 30.3 percent, so the only real surprise from my standpoint is that this matchup was even close.
